A Shout out for Stash and Treasure Market in May

Did you get to the first STASH AND TREASURE MARKET?
...or did you miss out on all the bargains and fun of being part of a new market?
Well…NEVER FEAR… the markets are on again in May
lpG
Turn your excess creative art & craft materials into cash at Stash &
Treasure Recycler's Market on May 12 at Marrickville Town Hall, 303
Marrickville Road, Marrickville 2204 from 9am - 2pm.

ALL crafters, artists, collectors, painters, mixed media artists, assemblage
artists, wood turners, sculptors, SAHM's, scrapbookers, sewers, quilters,
dyers, jewellers, journallers, collectors, bookmakers, knitters, sculptors,
felters, screen printers, weavers, beaders, toy makers, bike repairers, doll
makers, crocheters, mechanics … if you have too much creative stash then
this market is for you.

De-clutter your studio, work space, garage, spare room, magazine rack, book
shelves, bottom drawer,  sewing room, linen cupboard, or sewing basket and
turn your unused, but hard to part with stash into dollars.
This is not a market for product or finished goods.
The market is for excess creative materials. The found objects you were
going to use in your next mixed media or assemblage creation, the beautiful
old papers, fabric, linens, haberdashery, sheet music, postcards, you’ve
saved for a rainy day....this is the place to see them go to good homes! The
glue, paints, nic nacs, haberdashery, quilter UFO's, badges, beads,
findings, old tools, keys, street directories, maps, fabric, lace, wool or
doilies you were going to make into something quirky or beautiful are ideal
to recycle in to cash.

Small furniture related to your studio or work space, containers, suitcases,
hatboxes, jars, sewing baskets, cigar boxes you were going to use to store
your craft materials in, plus the books and magazines you have read and are
no longer interested in that art or craft technique are perfect for Stash &
Treasure.
This market is about recycling and turning your creative stash in to cash!
Supporting Marrickville-Stanmore Girl Guides by a gold coin donation at the

Shamrockin'

HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY

I sat in sunshine for a wee while yesterday...
blue sky reflected in the sewing table...
cutting and preparing...
Today is a different story...
The red arrow shows my soggy little corner of Sydney!
A good day for sewing...to be sure...to be sure...
(Shamrocks from this tutorial...)

thanks for taking a peek over the fence...
