Giveaways Galore...

Giveaway the first...

Leona has just made the move from her home in Florida to West Pennsylvania. A huge move for family reasons. You should head on over to her blog for this fabulous giveaway.
As always, Leona has a load of lovely goodies that could arrive in your letterbox (although mine would be preferable), including the fabric bundle shown in the picture (which I lifted from Leona's blog!).

Giveaway the second...

I have been admiring the style of these gorgeous patterns and the brilliant quilting that makes the applique stand out so well.

Now there's the chance to win a pattern from Kellie. Go here to find out how to enter (and don't let the "intestines" put you off!).

My postcard was an attempt to capture the gorgeousness of this technique...alas I have a long way to go...but who knows, winning a pattern could change my world...

Giveaway at Bejewelled Quilts

Barb over at Bejewelled Quilts has two giveaways going at the moment.

If you post about one, you'll get an entry in the second.

So here is her first giveaway, that introduces her Mum and 3 other sisters, who are all quilters.

http://bejeweledquilts.blogspot.com/2010/11/my-giveaway-is-25-dollar-gift.html

There must be some heavy quilt DNA in that family.

The second give away is for a whole stack of fabrics to make a cathedral windows quilts. This giveaway is here.

November is Birthday Month chez quilary.

That all makes for a slow crafting and blogging month.

Last weekend there was the party for 17yr old - Princess (in the best sense of the word NOT the spoilt brat sense!). A quiet BBQ with some lovely young ladies.

Today it's the 11 yr old - Miss Bee (the baby *sob* *sob*), with a jumping castle .

This time last year we had no kitchen to speak and there were no parties OR homemade cakes. This year has been a bit different, but more of that later.

I'd better get moving - a bit more to do before the 20 11year olds storm the fort...

Leona's giveaway...

I am doing my best to avoid tidying up* my messy sewing room and am convincing myself that helping fellow bloggers find giveaways, is an appropriate use of my time.

After all, wouldn't it make you really happy to get a lovely little surprise in your virtual and real mailboxes?

So in the interest of a world full of happy bloggers, here is another giveaway to check out.

Leona of Leona's Quilting Adventure has a generous 'get ready for Christmas' giveaway going on over here. She also has a page listing the links to the blogs with links to the latest giveaways around - clever cookie!

*I deleted lots of old emails and reduced my inbox to one page - does that count as doing some useful tidying up? Please say yes, otherwise I will I have had a fail of a day!

A Promise - Blogtoberfest 2010 - Day 8

This year I am absolutely definitely sending something off to Meet Me At Mikes for the Mirabel Foundation - and if I announce it here - then I'm bound to keep my promise.
All the information you need about Softies for Mirabel is here.

My Giveaway:
Do you know anyone can enter my giveaway - it finishes on October 15 and is part of the Fall into Fall Quilt Bloggers giveaways.  There are nearly 150 blogs that have giveaways and if you go to the link, they are listed in the righthand column of that site.

It's been a little bit busier than I expected! I am trying to make sure I say hello to all the commenters - though I've noticed on some blogs that the authors say they won't for their sanity - now I know what they mean - I've never had so many visits to my blog before...
There are lots of blogs to go to -and some fantastic giveaways.

Now the housework is done, the blog has been seen to...I'm off to do some more quilting on the jeans quilt before the dinner rush.
